Stanford Health Policy Data Science
Lab Manual
The Health Policy Data Science Lab at Stanford is a group of interdisciplinary researchers who develop and apply quantitative methods to solve problems in health policy, leveraging techniques from statistics, computer science, economics, epidemiology, and decision science. The faculty PI at Stanford is Professor Sherri Rose.
This manual evolves over time to incorporate additional contributions from Lab members. Contributors include Malcolm Barrett, Marika Cusick, and Sherri Rose.
Are you a prospective or new student? We suggest starting with the first chapter so you can learn more about our Lab culture. Many of the subsequent sections provide technical guidance that is especially useful once you begin a research project and have participated in Lab trainings.
